Remaining a cult classic even today, and equipped with a brand new battery and a fast SSD, it remains a reliable device for writers seeking a distraction-free device, or mechanics needing a new shop machine.

Technician Upgrades

• A brand new 87Wh battery pushes the battery life to ~6 hours. Under load, it may be closer to 4 hours.

• The RAM has been upgraded from 512MB to 4GB. Though the architecture only recognizes 2GB, this is still a substantial improvement.

• The clunky 80GB hard drive has been replaced with a 120GB SSD, reducing boot times significantly.

Condition Report

Physical Condition: 7/10. The device has some superficial scratches on the lid. The screen is very clear, and internals have been thoroughly cleaned.

Keyboard: The laptop has one of the nicer keyboards that I have used compared to other membrane laptop keyboards.
